Absolutely amazing place, experience and host!
Lia's house is BIG and with multiple, useful and fun amenities. We, a family of 6 + one sporadic guest (also a family member) who would pop up briefly during the weekend, had plenty of space and leisure activities during our family reunion.
We have all enjoyed every single bit of the house and what it had to offer: furniture and construction material all of high quality, excellent taste in design, carefully placed nets close to the pool, super clean house and facilities, amazing games room (can't stress how awesome it was for us) with a bar, pool table and unique style. Two well thought-through kitchens with all that you need to cook your own food and keep it tidy with ease, easy to use barbecue facility with all the needed gadgets nearby/at hand.
Two of us had to stay in the house due to government restrictions and we didn't get bored at all, despite staying locked for almost 2 weeks!!! There's so much to do in it! Honestly, this house is perfect for families of 4 up to 8 people, even more I think.
The pool's temperature varied between 22-25 degrees Celsius and it was delicious throughout the day. You could have some late night swims if you want to.
Something that is not mentioned in the description but is totally worth doing so is the variety of fruitful trees and flora in general in the property and surroundings. We were astonished with it as it is extremely beautiful. The view is fantastic as well, as the property is located in a hill you can see well above. There is one big, gorgeous tree nearby that is just...wonderful.
We did not go the beach (which is a shame) but if you are into Surf you'll probably know about Ericeira. Well, if you don't, this is one of the top beaches for surf to be at, worldwide, at roughly 15 minutes from the property.
I'm definitely missing some other positives I should add to this review, sorry but at least you'll get to experience it for yourself.
Also, Lia was an amazing host, she went above and beyond to make sure we would feel comfortable given the restrictions and even did a research on what was needed, with super fast replies, flexibility and always in good spirit, she should already be a super host!!
We can only thank Lia and her family for this lovely experience that will be forever in our memories! :D 100% recommended to anyone.

Our vacation was just perfect thanks to lia and the amazing house. We arrived 3 couples and 3 little ones and we got a warm welcoming from lia who was so kind, and her hospitality was beyond our expectations. The house is gorgeous and well equipped, so clean (it's a really large house and yet was extremely clean), We found everything we needed for cooking, sleeping, hanging out by the pool... Lia prepared for us 3 baby beds and even took care for a radiator because it was a bit chilly at night. The house is filled with soul and will make u feel at home right away. Thanks lia for a beautiful vacation :)

Nous avons été reçu par Lia très chaleureusement , la maison est en tous point de vue conforme aux descriptions sur airbnb. notre séjour fut très agréable grace au très grand confort de la maison, chambres , salles de bain spacieuses d'une propretè irréprochable. la décoration de la villa est très raffinée avec un très grand nombre d'objets de collection. nous avons très apprécié les diverses activités mises à notre disposition tel le billard, le baby foot, le trampolin, la piscine qui ont ravi les enfants. Nous recommandons très vivement cette maison au calme situé à 10 minutes en voiture de toutes les plages d'Ericeira. Un immense merci à Lia pour nous avoir reçu avec beaucoup de gentillesse illuminé par un sourire éclatant

What can I say other than perfect! My favourite AirBnB so far! The location is fantastic, minutes drive from lovely beaches and local towns. 30 mins easy drive from Lisbon and the airport. The house is lovely, everything you would want! The surroundings of the house are stunning, lovely pool, barbecue & outside area. Great pool room and bar downstairs. Kitchen has absolutely everything you need! - supermarkets are close by with a car and lots of variety. Rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. Lia the host gave us great recommendations, was very quick to respond to any messages. Would 100% recommend this listing and will be recommending to family & friends!

The house (interior and exterior) is simply impressive. A perfect 10. All the rooms, from the basement to the second floor, are beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very spacious and you will find everything you need. Everything is spotless. If you like the photos, wait until you see it with your own eyes even better ! It is perfectly located to explore the Lisbon area and surroundings: less than half an hour to Lisbon, very close to Sintra and Cascais and around 15 minutes to the beach. You will not find a better location. Lia is an excellent host. She is always available and looking forward to make everything easy for you. She cares about keeping the house and the garden/pool area in great condition. We were in the house with our kids aged 9 and 11 and they loved it: the rooms, the pool, the billiard, trampoline, etc. The only thing we regret from our trip to Portugal is not having spent more time on Lia’s house. We will come back. To sum up: excellent house, excellent garden/pool, and excellent host. If you are considering to visit the area and this house is free on the days of your trip don’t look any further. Just book it now !

We stayed with 4 couples in july 2016 and had an amazing time! The house is beautiful (on the outside and inside) and big. The house is newly renovated, and they have done a great job! There is a wide view over the countryside (hills with lemon trees and the ocean) and it has everything you need. We really enjoyed playing all the different games te house has to offer: pool, tablefootball, trampoline and ping pong. The house has a big and deep pool, which is perfect to swim in or to chill by in the hammocks or loungeseats. There is also an outside shower and outside toilets. We made dinner almost every day using the nice big kitchenspace and (typical portugese) outdoor barbecue. Ericeira (15 min by car) and Mafra (less then 10 min by car) are not that far away, so going out for dinner wasn't a problem either. Especially Ericeira is a very alive town, because the area has a lot of beaches and is good for surfing. Both towns have plenty 'points of interest' like supermarkets (Lidl, pinco dolce, intermarche). The host, Lia, is a very nice woman who will do everything to make sure you have a nice stay. We had some problems with our rental cars and she offered to drive us to the supermarket and gave us a phone number of a friend who could bring us somewhere, when she was not around. Lia also made a (nice looking and detailed) list of things to do in the area; eating, drinking, swimming, lisboa, etc. She responded fast when we messaged her and sher speaks very good English. In conclusion: Awesome house, for an awesome holiday! We are 4 couples aged around 30, but the house would also be very nice for families.

Lia is a perfect hostess, attentive to your needs and informative on what to do and where to go. We just spend terrific holidays in her wonderful house, lying on a hill with magnificent views in a nice area. Daytrips to beaches, Lisbon, Sintra and closer by Ericeira are great. And if we felt to stay home we chilled, cooked, swum and read our books. Her house gives personal warmth: everything you need to make you feel at home is there and if you like aesthetic distraction you will be absolutely satisfied by the many artefacts.
